Neighbourhood Policing Activity in Bradford

27th – 30th December 2025.

Following concerns raised by local residents about dangerous driving on Lister Lane, Bradford, the Neighbourhood Policing Team took action to improve road safety in the area.

To address the issue, officers carried out targeted speed checks using a speed gun. During this operation, one vehicle caught officers’ attention after a near miss caused by unsafe driving. When stopped, the car was found to have a faulty front headlight and was being driven without valid insurance. As a result, the vehicle was seized.

Elsewhere, across the Eccleshill and Idle areas, officers continued road safety enforcement. This activity resulted in:

8 traffic tickets issued

2 vehicles seized for having no valid insurance

1 driver identified as disqualified and dealt with accordingly

Our teams will continue working alongside the community to address concerns and keep Bradford’s roads safe.
